1. ὁ δεχόμενος σὲ δέχεται καὶ τὸν κύριον.
The one who receives you receives the Lord as well.
2. ταῦτα εἶπον τοῖς εἰσερχομένοις εἰς τὴν ἐκκλησίαν.
I said these things to those who were entering into the church/assembly.
3. εἰσερχόμενος εἰς τὴν ἐκκλησίαν ἔλεγε τὴν παραβολὴν ὑμῖν.
As he was entering into the church/assembly, he was telling the parable to you.
4. αἱ ἐκκλησίαι αἱ λυόμεναι ὑπὸ τοῦ πονηροῦ ἄρχοντος δοξάζονται ὑπὸ τοῦ κυρίου.
The churches that are being destroyed by the evil ruler are glorified by the Lord.
5. οἱ λαμβάνοντες τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ σώζονται.
The ones receiving the grace of God are saved.
6. ἀναγινώσκομεν τὰ γραφόμενα ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τῆς ζωῆς.
We are reading the things written in the book of life.
7. τοῦτό ἐστι τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ σῶζον ὑμᾶς καὶ καθαρίζον ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὑμῶν.
This is the Spirit that saves you and cleanses you from your sins.
8. τὸ φῶς τοῦ θεοῦ φαίνει ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ.
The light of God shines in the world.
9. ὁ λέγων ὅτι ἔχει κοινωνίαν μετὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ἀλλὰ μένει ἐν τῷ σκότει ἁμαρτίας ἐστὶ ψεύστης.
The one saying that he has fellowship with God but remains in the darkness of sin is a liar. (cf. 1 John 1:6)
10. Ἰησοῦς Χριστός ἐστιν ὁ δίκαιος παράκλητος ἡμῶν.
Jesus Christ is our righteous advocate/helper. (cf. 1 John 2:1)
11. ὁ θεὸς φῶς ἐστιν καὶ σκοτία ἐν αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν.
God is light and in him there is no darkness. (cf. 1 John 1:5)
12. ἦσαν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τῷ λυομένῳ.
They were in the house that was being destroyed.
13. ἐν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς αὐτοῦ ὁ ἀπόστολος εἶδε τὰς χεῖρας τοῦ κυρίου μετὰ τὴν ἀνάστασιν.
With his eyes the apostle saw the hands of the Lord after the resurrection.
14. οἱ ὄντες υἱοὶ τοῦ θεοῦ ὀφείλουσι μένειν ἐν τῷ λόγῳ αὐτοῦ.
Those who are sons of God ought to remain in his word.
15. εἴδομεν τὸν ἀπόστολον ὄντα ἐν τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ.
We saw the apostle who was (literally, being) in the church/assembly.
