1. τὰ γεγραμμένα ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τοῦ νόμου ἐστὶν ἀγαθά.
The things written in the book of the law are good.
2. ὁ προφήτης εὐηγγελίσατο λέγων ὅτι ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἤγγικεν.
The prophet proclaimed the good news, saying that the kingdom of heaven has drawn near. (cf. Matthew 3:2)
3. ἀκηκόαμεν τὴν ἀλήθειαν καὶ ἐγνώκαμεν ὅτι ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστίν.
We have heard the truth and have known that it is from God.
4. γεγόνατε τὰ τέκνα τοῦ θεοῦ.
You (plural) have become the children of God.
5. χάριτί ἐστε σεσωσμένοι διὰ πίστεως.
By grace you have been saved through faith. (Periphrastic perfect passive; cf. Ephesians 2:8)
6. ἐγὼ ἐλήλυθα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι τοῦ πατρός μου καὶ ὑμεῖς οὐ δέχεσθέ με.
I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not receive me. (cf. John 5:43)
7. πεπιστεύκαμεν καὶ ἐγνώκαμεν ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ θεοῦ.
We have believed and have known that you are the Holy One of God. (cf. John 6:69)
8. ταῦτα εἶπεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς πρὸς τοὺς πεπιστευκότας εἰς αὐτόν.
Jesus said these things to those who had believed in him. (cf. John 8:31)
9. ἤδη τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον ἐλήλυθεν εἰς τὸν κόσμον.
Already the Holy Spirit has come into the world.
10. οἱ βεβαπτισμένοι μαθηταί εἰσιν ἐν τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ.
The baptized disciples are in the church/assembly.
11. οἱ μαθηταὶ βεβαπτισμένοι συνῆλθον εἰς τὸν οἶκον.
Having been baptized, the disciples came together into the house. (Or predicate position: "The disciples came together into the house, having been baptized.")
12. διὰ τοῦ προφήτου γέγραπται ὅτι ὁ χριστὸς ἐλεύσεται ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις.
It is written through the prophet that the Christ will come in these days.
13. ὁ κύριος ἀπέθανεν, ἀλλὰ νῦν ἐγήγερται.
The Lord died, but now he has been raised.
14. οἱ ἐξεληλυθότες ἐκ τοῦ σκότους εἰς τὸ φῶς ἔγνωκαν ὅτι ὁ θεός ἐστιν ἀγάπη.
Those who have come out of darkness into the light have known that God is love.
15. ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀπεκτάνθη, γέγονε δὲ βασιλεὺς τοῦ κόσμου.
Jesus was killed, but he has become king of the world.
