The Cosmic Call to Praise
112.1 [MT=113:1] Praise the Lord, O servants; praise the name of the Lord. 112.2 [MT=113:2] Let the name of the Lord be blessed from this time forth and forevermore. 112.3 [MT=113:3] From the rising of the sun until its setting, let the name of the Lord be praised. 112.4 [MT=113:4] High above all the nations is the Lord; His glory is above the heavens.
The God Who Stoops
5 [MT=113:5] Τίς ὡς κύριος θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐν ὑψηλοῖς κατοικῶν 6 [MT=113:6] καὶ τὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορῶν ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐν τῇ γῇ; 112.5 [MT=113:5] Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high, 112.6 [MT=113:6] and yet looks upon the humble things in the heaven and on the earth?
112.7 [MT=113:7] He who raises the poor from the earth and lifts the needy from the dung heap, 112.8 [MT=113:8] to seat him with princes, with the princes of His people; 112.9 [MT=113:9] He who settles the barren woman in a home, a joyful mother of children.
