Psalm 131
(LXX 130)

AlexandrinusVaticanus

1 A Song of degrees of David.
Yahweh, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

131:1 A Song of Degrees of David Oh Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have my eyes been haughtily raised; neither have I exercised myself in great matters, nor in things too wonderful for me. 131:1 A Song of Degrees of David Oh Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have my eyes been haughtily raised; neither have I exercised myself in great matters, nor in things too wonderful for me.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother; my soul is even as a weaned child.

131:2 I shall have sinned if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul; according to the relation of a weaned child to his mother, so will you recompense my soul. 131:2 I shall have sinned if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul; according to the relation of a weaned child to his mother, so will you recompense my soul.

3 Let Israēl hope in Yahweh from henceforth and for ever.
