1 Yahweh, how are they increased who trouble me! many are they who rise up against me.

3:1 Κύριε τί ἐπληθύνθησαν οἱ θλίβοντές με;
πολλοὶ ἐπανίστανται ἐπ' ἐμέ. 		3:1 κύριε, τί ἐπληθύνθησαν οἱ θλίβοντές με;
πολλοὶ ἐπανίστανται ἐπ' ἐμέ·

2 Many there are who say of my soul, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah.

3:2 πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τῇ ψυχῇ μου, οὐκ ἔστιν σωτηρίᾳ αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ θεῷ αὐτοῦ·
διάψαλμα. 		3:2 πολλοὶ λέγουσι τῇ ψυχῇ μου·
οὐκ ἔστι σωτηρία αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ Θεῷ αὐτοῦ.

3 But you, Oh Yahweh, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.

3:3 σὺ δέ κύριε, ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἶ, δόξα μου, καὶ ὑψῶν τὴν κεφαλήν μου. 3:3 σὺ δέ, Κύριε, ἀντιλήπτωρ μου εἶ, δόξα μου καὶ ὑψῶν τὴν κεφαλήν μου.

4 I cried to Yahweh with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

3:4 φωνῇ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐκέκραξα, καὶ ἐπήκουσέν μου ἐξ ὄρους ἁγίου αὐτοῦ διάψαλμα. 3:4 φωνῇ μου πρὸς Κύριον ἐκέκραξα, καὶ ἐπήκουσέ μου ἐξ ὄρους ἁγίου αὐτοῦ.

5 I laid me down and slept; I awoke; for Yahweh sustained me.

3:5 ἐγὼ ἐκοιμήθην καὶ ὕπνωσα ἐξηγέρθην, ὅτι κύριος ἀντιλήμψεταί μου. 3:5 ἐγὼ ἐκοιμήθην καὶ ὕπνωσα·
ἐξηγέρθην, ὅτι Κύριος ἀντιλέληθε μου.

6 I won't be afraid of 10,000 people, who have set themselves against me all around.

3:6 οὐ φοβηθήσομαι ἀπὸ μυριάδων λαοῦ, τῶν κύκλῳ συνεπιτιθεμένων μοι. 3:6 οὐ φοβηθήσομαι ἀπὸ μυριάδων λαοῦ τῶν κύκλῳ συνεπιτιθεμένων μοι.

7 Arise, Oh Yahweh; save me, Oh my God; for you have struck all my enemies on the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the ungodly.

3:7 ἀνάστα κύριε, σῶσόν με ὁ θεός μου·
ὅτι σὺ ἐπάταξας πάντας τοὺς ἐχθραίνοντάς μοι ματαίως ὀδόντας ἁμαρτωλῶν συνέτριψας. 		3:7 ἀνάστα, Κύριε, σῶσόν με, ὁ Θεός μου, ὅτι σὺ ἐπάταξας πάντας τοὺς ἐχθραίνοντάς μοι ματαίως, ὀδόντας ἁμαρτωλῶν συνέτριψας.

8 Salvation belongs to Yahweh: your blessing is on your people. Selah.
