Jerusalem like a Useless Vine

1 And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

15:2 καὶ σύ, υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, τί ἄν γένοιτο τὸ ξύλον τῆς ἀμπέλου ἐκ πάντων τῶν ξύλων τῶν κλημάτων τῶν ὄντων ἐν τοῖς ξύλοις τοῦ δρυμοῦ; 15:2 καὶ σύ, υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, τί ἄν γένοιτο τὸ ξύλον τῆς ἀμπέλου ἐκ πάντων τῶν ξύλων τῶν κλημάτων τῶν ὄντων ἐν τοῖς ξύλοις τοῦ δρυμοῦ;

4 Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devours both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?

15:4 πάρεξ πυρὶ δέδοται εἰς ἀνάλωσιν, τὴν κατ' ἐνιαυτὸν κάθαρσιν ἀπ' αὐτῆς ἀναλίσκει τὸ πῦρ, καὶ ἐκλείπει εἰς τέλος·

ἐκ τοῦ πυρὸς ἐξελεύσονται, καὶ πῦρ αὐτοὺς καταφάγεται, καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται ὅτι ἐγὼ Κύριος ἐν τῷ στηρίσαι με τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπ' αὐτούς.
