1 Yahweh, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

3 You turn man to destruction; and say, “Return, you children of men.”

90:3 μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς ἄνθρωπον εἰς ταπείνωσιν·

4 For 1000 years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

5 You carried them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which grows up.

90:5 τὰ ἐξουδενώματα αὐτῶν ἔτη ἔσονται.

7 For we are consumed by your anger, and by your wrath are we troubled.

8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your countenance.

90:8 ἔθου τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν ἐνώπιόν σου·

9 For all our days are passed away in your wrath; we spend our years as a tale that is told.

90:9 ὅτι πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι ἡμῶν ἐξέλιπον, καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου ἐξελίπομεν·
τὰ ἔτη ἡμῶν ὡς ἀράχνην ἐμελέτων. 		90:9 ὅτι πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι ἡμῶν ἐξέλιπον, καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ σου ἐξελίπομεν·

10 The days of our years are 70 years; and if by reason of strength they be80 years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

90:10 αἱ ἡμέραι τῶν ἐτῶν ἡμῶν, ἐν αὐτοῖς ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη, ἐὰν δὲ ἐν δυναστείαις, ὀγδοήκοντα ἔτη, καὶ τὸ πλεῖον αὐτῶν κόπος καὶ πόνος·
ὅτι ἐπῆλθεν πραΰτης ἐφ' ἡμᾶς, καὶ παιδευθησόμεθα. 		90:10 αἱ ἡμέραι τῶν ἐτῶν ἡμῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη, ἐὰν δὲ ἐν δυναστείαις, ὀγδοήκοντα ἔτη, καὶ τὸ πλεῖον αὐτῶν κόπος καὶ πόνον·
ὅτι ἐπῆλθε πρᾳότης ἐφ' ἡμᾶς, καὶ παιδευθησόμεθα.

11 Who knows the power of your anger?
Even according to your fear, so is your wrath.

90:11 τίς γινώσκει τὸ κράτος τῆς ὀργῆς σου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ φόβου σου τὸν θυμόν σου; 90:11 τίς γινώσκει τὸ κράτος τῆς ὀργῆς σου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ φόβου σου τὸν θυμόν σου ἐξαριθμήσασθαι;

12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.

90:12 ἐξαριθμήσασθαι τὴν δεξιάν σου οὕτως γνώρισον καὶ τοὺς πεπεδημένους τῇ καρδίᾳ ἐν σοφίᾳ. 90:12 τὴν δεξιάν σου οὕτω γνώρισόν μοι καὶ τοὺς πεπαιδευμένους τῇ καρδίᾳ ἐν σοφίᾳ.
90:12 and who knows how to number his days because of the fear of your wrath?

13 Return, Oh Yahweh, how long?
And let it repent you concerning your servants.

90:13 Ἐπίστρεψον, κύριε·
ἕως πότε;

14 Oh satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

15 Make us glad according to the days in which you have afflicted us, and the years in which we have seen evil.

17 And let the beauty of Yahweh our Elohim be on us; and establish you the work of our hands on us; yes, the work of our hands establish you it.

90:17 καὶ ἔστω ἡ λαμπρότης κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἐφ' ἡμᾶς καὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν κατεύθυνον ἐφ' ἡμᾶς. 90:17 καὶ ἔστω ἡ λαμπρότης Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἐφ' ἡμᾶς, καὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν κατεύθυνον ἐφ' ἡμᾶς καὶ τὸ ἔργον τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν κατεύθυνον.
