1 Give ear to my words, Oh Yahweh, consider my meditation.

5:2 πρόσχες τῇ φωνῇ τῆς δεήσεώς μου, ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου·

3 My voice you shall hear in the morning, Oh Yahweh; in the morning I will direct my prayer to you, and will look up.

5:3 τὸ πρωῒ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς μου·

4 For you are not a God who has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you.

5:4 ὅτι οὐχὶ θεὸς θέλων ἀνομίαν σὺ εἶ·
οὐδὲ παροικήσει σοί πονηρευόμενος, 		5:4 ὅτι οὐχὶ Θεὸς θέλων ἀνομίαν σὺ εἶ·
οὐ παροικήσει σοι πονηρευόμενος,

5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.

5:5 οὐ διαμενοῦσιν παράνομοι κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου·
ἐμίσησας πάντας τοὺς ἐργαζομένους τὴν ἀνομίαν, 		5:5 οὐδὲ διαμενοῦσι παράνομοι κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν σου.

6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood: Yahweh will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

5:6 ἀπολεῖς πάντας τοὺς λαλοῦντας τὸ ψεῦδος·
ἄνδρα αἱμάτων καὶ δόλιον βδελύσσεται κύριος. 		5:6 ἀπολεῖς πάντας τοὺς λαλοῦντας τὸ ψεῦδος.

7 But as for me, I will come into your house in the multitude of your mercy; and in your fear will I worship toward your holy temple.

5:7 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέους σου εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου, προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου ἐν φόβῳ σου. 5:7 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέους σου εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου, προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου ἐν φόβῳ σου.

8 Lead me, Oh Yahweh, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.

9 For there is no faithfullness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

5:9 ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν ἀλήθεια·
ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ματαία·
τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν·
ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν. 		5:9 ὅτι οὐκ ἐστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν ἀλήθεια, ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ματαία·
τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν, ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν.

10 Destroy them, Oh God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against you.

5:10 κρῖνον αὐτούς ὁ θεός·
ἀποπεσάτωσαν ἀπὸ τῶν διαβουλίων αὐτῶν·
κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀσεβειῶν αὐτῶν ἔξωσον αὐτούς, ὅτι παρεπίκρανάν σὲ κύριε. 		5:10 κρῖνον αὐτούς, ὁ Θεός.

11 But let all those who put their trust in you rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them: let them also who love your name be joyful in you.

5:11 Καὶ εὐφρανθήτωσαν πάντες οἱ ἐλπίζοντες ἐπὶ σέ, εἰς αἰῶνα ἀγαλλιάσονται, καὶ κατασκηνώσεις ἐν αὐτοῖς·
καὶ καυχήσονται ἐν σοί πάντες οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸ ὄνομά σου, 		5:11 καὶ εὐφρανθείησαν πάντες οἱ ἐλπίζοντες ἐπὶ σέ·
εἰς αἰῶνα ἀγαλλιάσονται, καὶ κατασκηνώσεις ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ καυχήσονται ἐν σοί πάντες οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸ ὄνομά σου.

12 For you, Yahweh, will bless the righteous; with favour will you surround him as with a shield.

5:12 ὅτι σὺ εὐλογήσεις δίκαιον κύριε, ὡς ὅπλῳ εὐδοκίας ἐστεφάνωσας ἡμᾶς. 5:12 ὅτι σὺ εὐλογήσεις δίκαιον·
