Job: God is Great
5 Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants of it.
26:5 Shall giants be born from under the water and the inhabitants of it? | 26:5 Shall giants be born from under the water and the inhabitants of it? |
6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering.
26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. | 26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. |
7 He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth on nothing.
26:7 He stretches out the north wind on nothing, and he on nothing hangs the earth; | 26:7 He stretches out the north wind on nothing, and he on nothing hangs the earth; |
8 He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
26:8 binding water in his clouds, and the cloud is not rent under it. | 26:8 binding water in his clouds, and the cloud is not rent under it. |
9 He holds back the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.
26:9 He keeps back the face of his throne, stretching out his cloud on it. | 26:9 He keeps back the face of his throne, stretching out his cloud on it. |
10 He has surrounded the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
26:10 He has encircled the face of the water by an appointed ordinance, until the end of light and darkness. | 26:10 He has encircled the face of the water by an appointed ordinance, until the end of light and darkness. |
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

12 He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smites through the proud.
26:12 He has calmed the sea with his might, and by his wisdom the whale has been overthrown. | 26:12 He has calmed the sea with his might, and by his wisdom the whale has been overthrown. |
13 By his spirit he has garnished the heavens; his hand has formed the crooked serpent.

14 Lo, these are parts of his ways; but how little a portion is heard of him? But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
