1 I put my trust in Yahweh; How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain?

11:1 Ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ πέποιθα· πῶς ἐρεῖτε τῇ ψυχῇ μου, μεταναστεύου ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη ὡς στρουθίον;	11:1 ἐπὶ τῷ Κυρίῳ πέποιθα· πῶς ἐρεῖτε τῇ ψυχῇ μου· μεταναστεύου ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη ὡς στρουθίον;

2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow on the string, that they may privately shoot at the upright in heart.

11:2 ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐνέτειναν τόξον, ἡτοίμασαν βέλη εἰς φαρέτραν, τοῦ κατατοξεῦσαι ἐν σκοτομήνῃ τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ.	11:2 ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐνέτειναν τόξον, ἡτοίμασαν βέλη εἰς φαρέτραν τοῦ κατατοξεῦσαι ἐν σκοτομήνῃ τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ.

3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

4 Yahweh is in his holy temple, Yahweh's throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

11:4 Κύριος ἐν ναῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ, κύριος ἐν οὐρανῷ ὁ θρόνος αὐτοῦ· οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν πένητα ἀποβλέπουσιν, τὰ βλέφαρα αὐτοῦ ἐξετάζει τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων·	11:4 Κύριος ἐν ναῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ· Κύριος ἐν οὐρανῷ ὁ θρόνος αὐτοῦ. οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν πένητα ἀποβλέπουσι, τὰ βλέφαρα αὐτοῦ ἐξετάζει τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων.

5 Yahweh tries the righteous; but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.

6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest; this shall be the portion of their cup.

7 For the righteous Yahweh loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright.
