1 I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

Hope of Relief in God's Mercy

19 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

3:19 Ἐμνήσθην ἀπὸ πτωχείας μου καὶ ἐκ διωγμοῦ μου πικρίας καὶ χολῆς μου·

22 It is of Yahweh's mercies that we are not consumed, because his mercies don't fail.
